Meet The Team - Kay Watson
As part of our ‘Meet The Team’ series, here is Kay’s profile, so you can learn a little more about what Kay does on a day to day basis.
Q. What is your role at J Finance?
A. As a Client Relationship Manager, my day-to-day role involves liaising with our clients. Once the advisers have arranged the mortgage or protection policies, it’s my task to gather documentation, deal with the lenders and insurers and ensure the process runs smoothly from start to finish! I am also responsible for cross-referencing the incoming payments for several hundred transactions every month.
Q. How long have you worked at J Finance?
A. I started with J Finance in 2015, wow, that time has flown by! Since starting my employment, the company has grown substantially, from 3 advisers to where we are now!
Q. What do you like the best about working with J Finance?
A. I love being part of a fun, dedicated group of people, each unique, but together the company has a great family feel. I also like the autonomy given to manage my client’s applications; I like to pride myself in offering a personal service to each Adviser, and to their clients, building relationships to ensure the best possible outcome for each client whilst meeting their expectations throughout.
Q. Describe your typical day…
A. My day typically starts with checking and responding to my emails, and then it is on to my to-do list for the day. This involves liaising with my clients, the various banks/building societies and insurance companies, whilst chasing client applications and supplying additional information by way of lender portals, emails and fax.
However, no two days are the same and no two cases are the same! All cases require the personal touch and a keen eye for detail in order to get the client the mortgage offer they need.
